The Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo (UiO) has approximately 250 employees and 1500 students. The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) ranks ICT research at UiO as no. 1 in the Nordic region, no. 6 in Europe and no. 48 worldwide.

Tellu AS is a software company that provides applications and consulting within the mobile domain (M2M, Internet of Things). Tellu was established 2006 as a spin-off from Ericsson’s Norwegian research centre.

Vallvi AS is a small company (est. 2008)  focusing on consulting services and commercialisation of new technologies in the mobile, eID and security domains.

TazTag uses its RFID expertise to create and provide secured contactless products and solutions based on NFC and Zigbee®. Its core activity is the creation of new, highly secured, multi-application contactless products such as the TazCard, TazBox and TazKiosk.

 CEV – Chèque Déjeuner GroupFounded in 1993 in Normandy – France, CEV develops and hosts software solutions for loyalty programs on smart cards. CEV’s flagship product is Cartaplus shopping smart card, deployed in more than 200 cities European wide.

GREYC is an academic research laboratory of 240 members organized into 8 research units that work in Science and Information & Communication Technologies : Computer Science (in its various aspects), Control, and Electronics, from fundamental studies to applications, e.g., to software, Computer Security, sensors, etc. It is part of ENSICAEN
